In a green setting, in the heart of a 4-hectare oak forest, welcome to the Jas du Moine campsite! Here, between the cliffs of Sisteron and the song of the Durance, time stands still. Several evenings a week, food trucks will be on hand to offer a variety of tasty treats.
Whenever possible, we’ll bring you the most-watched sporting events, with big-screen broadcasts of matches and, depending on the program,entertainment on Friday evenings.

Our team organizes and puts at your disposal various activities and services to entertain you during your stay at our family campsite in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
You’ll have 4 petanque courts at your disposal, a home-ball game to challenge yourselves, and several body-building apparatus just waiting for you! Two ping-pong tables will be the stage for your challenges.
Family events and evening entertainment near Sisteron
At the Jas du Moine, your family campsite near Sisteron, the summer season in July and August is punctuated by themed evenings every Friday in a festive, warm and friendly atmosphere!
You can take part inboard game evenings : because it’s so much more fun to share these moments with others. It’s also a chance to shine, and watch out for cheaters!
An evening bingo will delight you with lots of prizes of local products, mainly for you to discover our region and spend a good moment of sharing and conviviality.
The long-awaited Provençal pétanque competition will take place on Wednesday evenings, so get ready for your teams!
The famous night-time pool party is eagerly awaited: it will add a fresh touch to the mild summer evenings under the starry skies of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. And because we love to showcase our local produce, we’ll be adding a local farmers’ market on one evening of the week.
Nearby shops and services
Just a few minutes’ walk from the campsite, you can wander through the small village of Salignac and discover its rich cultural heritage, with its church, chapels and washhouse, as you follow the Salignac biodiversity trail.
You can also take a gourmet break at the Pizzavore restaurant. You can also visit the Paleo Galerie, a museum containing fossils over 100 million years old: a nugget of our history.
A farmers’ market is held in the village square on Wednesdays in July and August.
Just a 5-minute drive away, the Marres lake in Sisteron will delight even the most avid summer cool-heads, after a visit to the Sisteron citadel with its breathtaking view of the Baume rock, from which flows the Durance, the tumultuous river that flows from the Alps to the Rhône.
Numerous hiking trails allow you to enjoy the unique views offered by our Provencal and Lower Alpine landscapes.
